FAQ

ARE THE ITEMS ALL HANDMADE?

Yes.  All pieces are handmade and depending on the piece and customers' preferences,

I do use commercial clasps for bracelets and necklaces where appropriate.

PRICING

Is based on market value and availability of materials.  A 6.25% tax is collected in Massachusetts. Labor cost is computed at $20 per hour.  On custom ordered pieces, a down payment of $50 is required.  Some price examples below.

Price + $170.00
$45.00
$70.00

MATERIALS

Customers may choose the material; gold, silver, copper, type and style of stone and setting. If she has a sketch of what is wanted, it is helpful and a verbal description is fine.  I send the customers drawings or photos during the fabricating process so the customer can see the progress and advise changes.  Collaboration is key to satisfaction.

DELIVERY

I ship parcel post or UPS ground delivery so allow a few weeks for your purchase to arrive as each piece is made to order.  I make every effort to select the least expensive shipping and of course, customers are welcome to the studio to pick up their order.

RETURNS

I will gladly refund any purchase which was purchased off the rack in my studio  and not  custom- ordered, within 14 days of the purchase.   Please bring or mail returned items to:

I have never had a purchase returned.

REPAIRS

I will repair or replace a purchased item which breaks as a result of faulty workmanship or defects within 60 days for the cost of shipping.  For the replacement of a piece broken through loving use, please send me all the original beads, etc.  For a small fee, I will restring/repair the loved piece and return it to you.  Please e-mail me prior to sending the broken or defective piece so I may discuss with you what is desired, needed or possible.

WHAT IF THE PIECE I WANT ISN'T AVAILABLE?

As most of my pieces are one of a kind, it may not be in stock.  The good news is that most of my designs are replicable with some variation due to the handmade process and materials used.  The creative process can be exacting and the finished result, though not an exact replica, is reminiscent of original design.  Customers can feel free to suggest changes to designs to make the finished piece more personal.  A deposit of 50% is asked to begin work.
